Do most of you use your points for 1 long trip or many shorter trips?

We're like lurontravel. We live about three hours away by car, and tend to go about four times a year, anywhere from one night at Vero up to five nights at WDW.

With a preschooler, we go at off times and use the seasonal pass, so it's quite cost effective for us. Of course, we do find ourselves hiring sitters and going out for nice adult meals since we're saving so much elsewhere!

I bought enough points to do 1 longer and 1 very short ( 2 nights) between my SSR and BWV contracts. I bought a small BWV to be able to go to the Flower & Garden Festival or the Food & Wine Festival. The SSR is for extended stays. This year we are going over Thanksgiving week and staying in a GV. I could stretch the stay out longer if it didn't take so many points for holidays and the GV. My daughter wants me to book the GV for her and several friends for her graduation present in summer 2005. I am going to have to really think about that one. I will probably have to go (darn!) just so there will be 1 adult in the room. BTW, what is the minimum age to be in a room for DVC?

For the past couple years we have been going 3 times, staying 7 nights twice and 6 nights once. This year we are only going once for 7 nights so we can bank points and stay 7 nights in a GV at the BWV for my Mom's 65th birthday present!
We will also be going for a second trip in 2005 for 7 nights.
We typically stay in one or two bedroom units.
