Do men pay attention to fingernails on women?

As a husband, I noticed in the sense that I LOVE my back scratched, so when the wife has bad nails, I feel it.

Beyond that, I could care less about color, etc.. Yeah I am a caveman

I notice. I'm especially fond of a French manicure because they look done and natural at the same time. However, I'm not repelled by other colors. I will agree that fake nails and ultra-stylized nails are a huge turn-off. As for toenails, it's a bonus if they're done, too. As a completely anecdotal and unscientific aside, I have noticed that more women have just their toenails done than have their fingernails done. Why is that? Still, if I'm attracted to someone whether or not her nails are done falls low on the priority list. But, yes, we notice. ;)

Because polish on toenails lasts so much longer! When I do my fingernails, it's more likely to get chipped, wrecked by doing dishes, etc.

Do men notice? Sometimes. Care? Not really. You will not be turned down based on a manicure. I think all women should get their hair and nails done sometimes just for themselves. But if you HAVE to go all the time...............

A pedicure lasts 3-4 weeks for me, a manicure lasts until the next time I have to do the dishes! My husband doesn't care either way, but I know he doesn't like the long acrylic ones, my sister has them and he's always making comments on how gross they are. If I'm showing clevage the last thing he's looking at are my fingers! :thumbsup2

Yes but more so on hands in general. Nice feminine hands are nice but man hands on a woman is a complete turn off. Nails are a nice bonus but not a deal killer. Done toes are nice too well at least for those of us who have foot fetishes.

Well, considering I've never had a manicure or a pedicure in my life, and I am 50 yo and happily married, I would say that my dh doesn't care. On a related note, I also don't wear any make-up and he doesn't seem to notice or care about that either.

No.

Do women even have fingers?

;)

:rotfl::rotfl: So funny!!

my dh always comments when he/we notice some chewed off grubby nails on a woman. (UGH, gives me the shivers)
He also comments if a woman has those really long, sometimes curled nails, hands or feet....What are these people thinking:confused3

I've had more than one man tell me I had nice nails and how much they love RED nails. That red nails are 'sexy'. So I say yes, some men do notice girls' nails.

I am a germaphobe so I do not care for long nails. Really long hair, Crystal Gale length, and really long nails give me the heeby jeebies.
I am a female.

My dh notices hands, but he prefers simplicity - clean, clipped, and filed nails. He has never been a fan of very long nails or the "painted look" whether it be bold shades of eye, lip, or nail colors. His preference is the same for the toes. I usually paint my toe nails with just a clear coat. However, our dd11 loves to paint her finger and toe nails bold colors. He always tells her that she chose beautiful colors because he knows she enjoys them, but secretly, he would prefer her not paint them at all.

I notice hands too especially on men.

oohhh...I forgot about back-scratchin'....:thumbsup2

I know DH notices because he comments on them sometimes. I always have my toes done, but very rarely polish my nails.

When I was in high school and much more high maintenance, I had long, always painted nails. One of my male teachers would always say something about them. He would hold up my hand and say that's what the guys like. Kinda creepy, but he was really good looking so I let it slide. ;)
