do "lava buns" contaminate microwaves?

I have a co-worker who heats her "lava buns" in the microwave per instructions. Another co-worker told her that because she "contaminated" the microwave with her buns, they can no longer use the microwave. IS there any chance the microwave is contaminated?

Since I assume she's not sitting on them naked it wouldn't bother me a bit. I microwave (at home) those things that are filled with rice and go on your neck and shoulders. To me, that is much grosser because they touch my hair. Since my food is on a clean plate, etc. I'm not exactly worried about it.

Unless the woman is sitting on it naked what would it matter.
If fecal bacteria is spread that easily through clothing then a contaminated microwave is the least of our problems. Bactera would actually be killed by microwaving

Clothing isn't bacteria proof. You should see some of the studies done on things like movie theater seats, and people aren't sitting on them naked either.

Not all bacteria is killed by microwave heat. However; what are the chances I think a coworker has of getting sick from this woman using the microwave as her personal butt warmer ? Very little to none. It's still kind of gross by principal though.

idk about the new ones but my buns have a separate microwave pad that you have to take out of the seat to heat up

i have only used it at home...cause i did think most folks would not appreciate me using it elsewhere
