Do last minute rooms ever pop up?

Going next weekend for 3 days. Generally speaking, do rooms ever magically appear a week or two out? Or pretty much out of luck. Have swan booked as a backup. Thanks!

They do. We had a 2BR lock off booked at BWV for a week in Oct and then 2 additional nights in a 2BR dedicated at SSR. My in laws were supposed to join us. They could not make it so I called on the drive in to ask to drop our 2BR at BWV down to just a 1BR (to save some points). They could not do it with the SSR as it was a dedicated 2BR. So I watched the availability all week long and found several options that opened during the week. The very last night at BWV we even found a 1BR open at BWV for those last 2 nights so I switched to that. Just stalk the availability searcher...like several times a day if you can. Good luck!

Give MS a cal. Some of those last minute ones within 7 days don’t always show up online. I got my daughter a room the same day by calling.

My last 3 trips were booked very last minute, 2 were booked the same day from airport waiting to board my flight to Florida. The last one was 1 day prior. I have been looking recently for the end of this month. I checked several times throughout the day and got 2 nights in a Riviera Studio. You just need to keep checking.

I have a room booked at swan but it has To be changed outside of 7 days. You must really be living dangerous with no place booked while boarding the plane!!!!

All waitlists are cancelled seven days out, so if anybody cancels their stay, the villas is available for anyone who can book it. Now the person cancelling is going to have their points go into Holding, but sometimes you just need to cancel and accept the penalties.

Called twice, MS said we can see whst they see. Still nada; could if booked SSR via Priceline for a the same as Swan but decided to jeep swan. Thanks for your help.

We got on the plane with one resort by the time I deplaned 3hrs later I had a new resort booked and surprised everyone in the travelling party as we got to DME. I ALWAYS am looking for different places to stay

My DW and took a last minute trip once and couldn't find a room for every night we were going to be there. Went anyway knowing we were homeless for a couple of nights I just kept checking the app while waiting in lines for rides, etc and ended up getting rooms last minute for the entire stay. we had to hop around to a couple of resorts, but was still fun!
