Do kids need their KTTW when in the kids clubs?

I was wondering if my almost 4 year old (she will be 5 when she actually cruises) will need a lanyard to have her KTTW on her at all times and while she will be in the oceaneer club. Not sure I like that fact but I'm hoping when she's in the club all she will need is her wrist band. I know she will need her card when we leave the ship at ports. TIA

Yes for ID and for muster station. Always best to have it, and question why not have it?

Honestly, I know my dd, she will lose it at that age LOL Yes I read she will need it for the muster station just wondering if she needed it for kids clubs only.

The only time your child needs the card is to get off/on the ship. When my kids were younger and in the club/lab we left their key in the room.

I am on the Magic right now and I never gave my DS7 his card. He wears his band in the kids club and I have his card in me at all times for muster and getting on and off the ship. You do not have to give your child the card.

Just got off the Fantasy and my kids ages 6 and 4 never needed their card for the kids clubs. They are given a wrist band that is locked and can't be removed.

No need for young kids to have their KTTW card with them at the Club/Lab. There is nothing for them to use it for at that time. Just keep it with yours.

Enjoy your cruise!

We have never given our kids (5 and 8) their cards either. I either keep them with me or just leave them in the cabin. They will just end up getting lost otherwise.

The band has the info for them.

My son carries his card bc he likes to, and because he's used to it from Royal, but he doesn't need it.

On the Magic, neither of my kids carried their cards. Both got Magic bands for the clubs; my 9 year old's was locked but my 3 year old's wasn't. I am not sure at what age they are locked on. We only used their cards to get on and off the ship, so I kept them in my lanyard with me.

Both kids checked in and out of club with magic band only. Easy!

On a future trip, I will likely let my older kid wear his, but he will be 11.

I posted this a few days ago but here you go again in case someone did't see it :)

One small probles if you keep all the key cards in one lanyard. You can't tap the card to get into your cabin ( or maybe getting off the ship)without taking it out of the lanyard pouch.
Here is my solution. I went to Guest Services and got an extra pouch, then I could just flip the pouch so the key card would work.

I actually use this because we always get two cabins and have 2 sets of keys. The blank key you see is our "Mommy Key".

My kids have never taken their cards to the club/lab. They actually never have them on them (don't trust them to not loose them). I carry them when in port.

the younger clubs no they will not be asked because they are signed in, the older kids need to show them in the edge and vibe
