Do I stand a chance?!

My SSR bid is in ROFR now - by the time I pass (like my optimistic view?!), and get in the system, I'll be past the 7 month, forget about 11 month, window for the 2007 studio reservations I want:

Aug 25-26 - SSR
One night sometime during the F&W Fest - OKW or SSR
Early Dec. - VWL

I know: some of the most popular times for DVCr's.

So do I stand a chance on any of these? Might going on a week night for the F&W Fest. improve my odds? Ditto for Dec.? Any other suggestions?

I'll be on the horn to MS the second I'm able, so I appreciate any wisdom that will get me prepared ahead of time!

Aug 25-26 SSR shouldn't be a problem.
One night during F&W Fest suring the @ OKW or SSR should not be a problem.
Early Dec @ VWL - I would have a second location ready and ask to put on the waitlist. VWL is smaller and very popular late Nov early Dec.

Going on a Friday or Saturday night (more points, less popular) may get you into the VWL in December. It did for us when we bought into DVC in September in '03, but there are lots more members now.
I really think you're OK with the other ones. We got into OKW in October one year for F&W and we had only decided to go in August, when we got a good buy on air. If you're going to be able to book, say in May, I think you'll be OK.

Thnaks for the reassurances - I'm feeling much better!

And I wasn't thinking of the Dec. weekends that way at all - weekends are actually better for us, so maybe, just maybe, I'll finally get back to the Wilderness this year!
