Ive been keeping an eye on the weather and Im wondering if we will have weather for swimming at the pool in the afternoon. Are the pools heated?

It looks like the mornings maybe chilly and the afternoons warm.

So what would you pack? jeans and short sleeves for daytime? or shorts?

When does it start to get chilly? when the sun goes down? It looks like the nighttime lows are in the 60's. That sweatshirt weather for us girls.

Mind you we are from the midwest (hot and humid summers) and are use to going to WDW in June when we have never needed any kind of jacket or sweatshirt ever!!! We have even gone swimming after we return from the parks late at night.

What to expect? how to pack? HELP!!!!

Yes, bring your swimsuits. It's been a little cool but still warm enough for a swim and I'm sure it will be plenty warm by then.
I'm sure the GCV heats their pool, plus there is the hot tub.
I'd plan on shorts or capris during the day. Jeans and a hoodie at night.

Of course you bring your swimsuits.... Don't need no nekkid people around the pool! :thumbsup2

When we were there in May we wore capris and short-sleeved shirts most of the day. We added long sleeves for some mornings and all evenings. We wore sandals the entire time.

We swam and swam and swam. So yes, bring suits!

By the way, high temps were 70s-low 80s.

I was just there and it was very cool. Didn't keep us out of the pool. They are heated and so is the spa.

If you like to swim then bring them. I would say that right now there is a cold streak an it is cooler than typical. So expect it to be much warmer in June.

A sweat shirt for night only is about right, but may not be nessecary at all.

Southern California typically experiences "June Gloom"....but often that just means cooler mornings and evenings...daytime should be fine for swimming, temperature wise. It might be overcast, but it likely won't be anything close to cold. Just remember to still use sunblock even when it's overcast...you'll burn just as badly, if not worse.

Thanks everyone!

Crazyduck you made me laugh so hard!!! I will definetly bring my suit!!!!

Im thinking for me shorts with a sweatshirt over my t-shirt for mornings and then i could just tie it around my waist/or go back to gcv where we are staying and toss it. Kids may be cold in the am so Im telling them to pack jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts for am and pm and we will change after lunch if it warms up enough.

Of course Ill keep checking weather.com

Swimsuits all year round!

Definately dress in layers! This past year the weather has been crazy. Its almost June and its been raining here in Northern California.

but as they say...IT NEVER RAINS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...

have fun!

I swear that so cal people say that for the same (well, hmm, opposite) reason that Pac NW people perpetuate the myth that we never have sun. WA people want to keep tourists away...so cal people want the tourists to come. Neither statement is true! Either that or I've just imagined the torrential downpours and annoying showers we have experienced while at Disneyland....
