Do I need Hollywood Studios with a 2 year old?

We LOVE HS and actually spent 2 days there on our last trip. But given the choice of only spending on day at MK or skipping HS I would skip HS hands down.

We're skipping HS with our 2 little ones. Doing MK for 2 days and 1 Epcot day. Not concerned about walking at Epcot. We have a double stroller. HS doesn't have enough to do.

It looks like you've gotten a lot of great advice. I have a daughter that is two, and Hollywood Studios has been great in our experience with her. There isn't a ton she can do in terms of rides, but the Disney Junior stuff is great for her along with all of the other things there that have already been mentioned. Other posters are definitely correct that character lines are much shorter at Hollywood Studios and the Frozen area is great!

You said you were going 4 days. Does that mean you will be doing a day at Animal Kingdom? Our daughter loves animals and the safari ride, but we have a great zoo at home that puts her closer to the animals and there aren't many ride options for her at that park either. If you were planning on doing Animal Kingdom, I would switch that day with Hollywood Studios. If not, I would agree and say spend two days at Magic Kingdom and a day at Epcot. Hollywood Studios is a great park, but two days at Magic Kingdom would be time well spent.

I think a second day at Magic Kingdom beats out a day at Hollywood Studios for an almost two year old. There are certainly things for a boy that age to enjoy, but the Magic Kingdom really needs two days at that age.

I agree with a previous poster about Epcot. As much as we loved that park before we had kids, it's a tough park with toddlers IMHO. It's BIG without a whole lot they can do. Ours don't care about the World Showcase as much as we've tried to get them to (though they like the gardens with the maze in the United Kingdom pavilion and the Mexico ride). We've cut down our trips slowly from 2 full days at Epcot to 1.5 days, to only one day planned there for our next trip! They're always happier in the other parks somehow.

Since you have no hoppers, I think definitely skip HS and do 2 MK days. If your son was really into Disney Jr. characters it might be different, but I think there's too much to do at MK in just 1 day anyhow.
