We will be going to Disney World, first and second week in Sept. The only table service we would like to east at is the Rose and Crown in Epcot. We are not bothered what day or time we eat. There will be five of us. Do you think it would be possible to either get seating between 2.30ish to 5.00ish., or make a reservation on on first day for anytime over the next two weeks? I dont really want to make any concrete plans until we arrive in Orlando. Also although we are not staying there would it be okay for us to eat at the Pop Century food court, we would like to check the hotel out for a further trip.

With the popularity of the Dining Plan and the fact that you are going during free dining, I think it is critical that you make an ADR for any restaurant that you really want to eat in. Although the times you are looking at are certainly not prime times, I suggest that you make the ADR.
Do you realize that most Table Service restaurants at the parks, and many at nearby hotels will be filled to capacity? Most will not be taking "walk ups" at all. Unless you seek out of the way restaurants or eat at odd times, without ADR's you will find it difficult to get into a sit down TS meal.
Yes it is fine to eat at the Pop Century food court.
Enjoy you exploration of the resort.
Have a great trip.

i would definatley book an ADR. Sept is the free dining time so all the reasturants are getting booked up. I made all of our ADR's for Sep/Oct and although i managed to get in, a did struggle with a few times and places.

If you haven't made a concrete plan for your 2 weeks i would just take the best time they can offer you for the best time at R&C and work around that 1 ressie. Better to be safe than disappointed :goodvibes

Thanks for your replies. As this is only table service we would like to eat, I think I will make ADRs. My kids are very fussy eaters and after looking at the menus, this is the only TS that offers unfussy:confused3 We will eat off-site most nights as we have friends that we will meet some evenings. Was thinking of eating at Pop food court whilst we are exploring as it offers a variety of different meals, as we all seem to like different types of food:headache: Any suggestions would be welcome.
