Do I have to manage everyone's FPs?!

We'll be going on a trip with extended family next year. We own DVC and will be making the reservations for the entire group of ten using our points.

It just occurred to me, as I read some other posts, that this might be problematic when it comes to FPs. If I were to purchase everyone's park tickets and link them to our reservation, then I would have to manage FPs for the entire group, yes? What if everyone purchases their own park tickets? How does that work? Can they link them to the group reservation and manage their selections on their own?

Sigh. I miss the "old days."

If I were to purchase everyone's park tickets and link them to our reservation, then I would have to manage FPs for the entire group, yes? What if everyone purchases their own park tickets? How does that work? Can they link them to the group reservation and manage their selections on their own?

Sigh. I miss the "old days."

If others have their own MDX accounts, you can link the accounts together (you invite each person to be a friend and they accept, and vice versa). Then you'd be able to dole out the tickets to each person. Then, as long as they match the names on the reservation, you'd be able to make FP+ selections as a whole or individually, and they'd also be able to control their own.

However, the process can be complicated at times because the system to match people isn't perfect.
