Do I have this right?

So I have a quick use year question regarding borrowing points as me and the Mr. decide how to best use our points in the next 2-3 years.

We are planning a Disney trip from 11/26 - 12/3 2012. We have a December Use Year so we get our points for the year on December 1st.

Am I correct in assuming that I can use points from 2011 UY (the year we will be in when we start), borrow if need be before 12/1 from 2012, and I can borrow points from 2013 UY starting on 12/1/12 (the start of our 2012 UY)?

I hope this is clear, lol. Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct. Your trip is divided between two use years. Nights of 11/26 through 11/30 are in the Dec 2011 use year and Dec 2011 points will be "current" use year points for those nights and points coming Dec 2012 would be borrowed points for those dates. For nights of Dec 1 and 2, the Dec 2012 points are the current use year points and for those nights you could borrow from Dec 2013.

Thanks so much! The split use year was slightly confusing. I didn't want to get closer only to find out I needed to bank points that we already used.
