Do I have the photo package detail correct

Hi. I'm sailing on the Wonder soon. I just purchased the "all digital" package and received a 15% discount for buying it before the cruise ($295). I believe these things to be true, please correct me if I am wrong.

My dependent child is staying in another cabin with a linked reservation. Will all photos with her face be placed on my USB? Does it matter that she is 18?

My mother is not in my cabin. But every picture that she takes with my family will show up on my USB. The only pics of her that I will not receive are pics with just her alone.

My brothers are traveling in 2 additional cabins (we have 4 cabins total), all linked reservations. Once we board, they can go to the shutters desk and buy their own all digital package for half price, just no 15% discount.. so $170ish. If we take a large family picture with all 4 cabin occupants, all 3 USB's should get a copy of the same shot, right?

The 4th cabin has grandmother (who wants no pics of herself alone) and 2 children with parents in other cabins. If the other 3 cabins buy the package, there's no reason to buy a 4th package?

Is there anything else that I should know to make sure I get the best pics and most value from the packages? Thanks!

At 18 she's considered an adult. The extension to children in a different room is for minor children. You can ask at Shutters once onboard, they'd be the one to make that call, however.

You can't buy one full package and get two 50% off packages. I believe you're correct that all packages would get the photo.

Only for minor children. "Dependent" status doesn't matter. If she's a legal adult (age 18+) that cabin will need to purchase a photo package. Otherwise, any pics that include the DD and anyone in your cabin will be included in your package.

Any pics of your mom plus anyone not in your cabin will not be included in your package. That goes for your mom plus the 18-yr-old DD, or your mom plus your brother(s) families.

I believe it's a 1-for-1 -- meaning for each full priced package purchased, one other cabin may purchase at half-price. The 3rd cabin will need to purchase at full price (or in advance like you did for discount). ANY photo that includes at least 1 person from your cabin will be included in your package as well as any other cabins represented in the photo.

As long as the 2 children booked with grandma are minors their photos will be included with their respective parent's package. If either/both of the children booked with grandma are age 18+, their pics will only be included if others' are also in the picture.

interesting. We are back from this cruise, we only bought 1 photo package for my main cabin (mom, dad, 16yo 13yo). I did receive on my USB many photos of my 18yo daughter alone or with grandmother who were in an adjoining cabin without a photo package. I got less than 200 images, which is less than I normally get (the later all aboard times in Alaska caused us to miss some evening photo opportunities). I also received some images of my Brothers family alone, who were in a 3rd cabin.

So I'm not sure if my 18yo daughter's age, my low number of photos, or facial recognition messed up a little.. but I did get a few photos from linked cabins that I was not counting on.
