Do I Bring The Ps2??

hi ALL!

Was wondering if I should bring the dreaded ps2 in the event of rainy day? I am not thrilled by the idea of bringing it, but wondering if that should be considered in the event of a rainy day?

if you do I would leave it at the hotel (locked up when your not there)..I think you would be to worried about at the parks and if its raining there isn't really a place to sit and play .we usually hide for a few min in a store and if it doesn't stop raining suck it up and enjoy walking on rides!!

Unless you are driving far and need the car entertainment, then NO. Go play in the rain if you have to! It rained a couple of days while we were there and we just did other stuff - go to Kennedy Space Center, Gatorland, DTD for some shopping, Disney Quest, hotel arcade. Put on your swim suit and literally "play in the rain!"

My vote is also NO.PS2's are fragile, and if it got bumped in your luggage or on the plane (if youre flying) it would be dead.Besides, there is so much to do at the resorts that even if you spent a day at the hotel youd have plenty to do. Plus, as a parent of a gamer (and the wife of one) that game system will be the starter of more than a few fights...... sure youll get a silence in the beginning, but after a short while youll get...... "its my turn!" "no it's mine" "mom hes cheating!" " no im not you just stink!".....etc. Your'e on vacation to get AWAY from that!

IMHO, don't bring it. Theft--and there are rainy day activities and such. To much to do. Don't bring the temptation or the kids will be bugging you to play it.

Thank you and WOW rihgt on the head you nailed that!! I have no desire to have the bickering about the game system! I can hear it now, thank you for reminding me what really awaits! I want this vaction to be as special as possible and my gut was saying no way! Then I got those pangs am I doing the right thing??

Thank you so much for the validation and it will be great not to hear that ps2 in the backround of my vacation!

Soooo much to do even on rainy days! I'd say no way except for in car only or something. In mid-October it rained with the sun at the same time and was wonderful to just keep going on our way.

am SO looking forward to NO video games,NO television, NO phone, NO computer...
Ahhh, THAT is a vacation all in itself!!!
