Do Fantasmic packages ever open up?

We only decided to go to WDW at about 90 days out, so getting ADRS exactly has been tough, but I was able to get most of what we want. The elusive one I really want is a Fantasmic package - I'll take it at either Mama Melrose or H&V for either lunch or dinner.

This has basically been impossible and I call every few days. Haven't seen a cancellation on the thread here either.

Do these packages ever open up? Do I even have a possibility of snagging this ressie? DH simply refuses to wait one hour on line and DD really wants to see this show.

Not sure what to do...

On the November Cancellation Board someone posted that there was openings and I was able to call and get one. So, I would say that you should just keep trying. Don't give up hope.

I finally got one but ended up cancelling because it was 2 TSD at HBD. I cancelled about a week ago. It was for Dec 9th. Just keep checking. Things keep opening up everyday. I think I'm a little over booked but still can't figure out a few of them.

we're going for the 4th time ever. We've never been able to snag one in any of the times we've tried. IDK if they open up but it hasn't been our luck to get one yet!!

OP, I think they have just added some Fantasmic shows in October which looks like when you are going? Some nights they added shows when there were none and some nights added a 2nd show. So you might have some luck calling in the next few days. Well, Ok I plan on calling several times a day starting today for the next few days.

The info about the added shows is in a thread on trip planning boards from the travel agents website and I have not checked the official wdw website yet. they are sometimes slower than the other sites

Just called and this was available. I didn't take it. I am holding out for a dinner - please send pixie dust
