do ecv's go in a certain part of the monorail?

we just got back last night. the staff will tell you which part of the gate to put your ECV and then when the train arrives they will put down a platform for you to ride onto the train with. i did not have any issues getting on the train or backing off of it.

Just to add to what the previous poster wrote, Post #8 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has information about all the transportation at WDW. This includes pictures of the monorail accessible ride car and the ramp that was mentioned.

You can find the FAQs thread near the top of this board, or follow the link in my signature.

On the gate infront of the platform is a handicap sign this is where you stage
for the car which is also marked. The CM will put down a ramp and you will
drive forward in the car. When you get to your destination you wait for the ramp amd then back out. The boat is a straight shot on and off. You should have no problems I have experienced it many times with my sister.

When you load the CM will ask what stop you are getting off at, and will radio ahead so that station has the ramp ready for that monorail car. It's very easy!
