Do DVC members make cash ressies thru MS?

As a DVC member, would I make my cash ressies thru member services for HH or VB (or any other DVC resort for that matter)? What about combining points with cash?

Yes, MS will make cash reservations at any of the DVC reosrts- based on availability.

The first priority is always to make these reservations using points, so cash reseravtions are available only when MS is convinced that the resort will not be filled by point reservations. Member cash reservations are rarely available at 11 months for DVC resorts, but often are by 7 months prior to the date.

The member 25% discount can be used, when available. Cash/point reservations made thru MS can be linked together so moving rooms won't be necessary. Cash reservations booked thru CRO can't be guaranteed to be linked together with a DVC point reservation- but the resort is often able to do this anyway.
