Do dog have feelings like embarrasment ? Do they know if their getting laughed at?( you know laughing at a bad hair cut or a silly outfit) I was just wondering and see what you would say.

Haha, I think they do.

Whenever I put the shirt from WDW I got my dog, I think she always feels embarassed because just goes and lies on the couch. :p

LoL. I remember my dog had a very bad haircut ( my mom got him shaved) and I was laughing, and he looked sad. I felt bad.

I know they do. We had a cocker spaniel, and we put a red and black sweater on him. The dog was so embarrassed that he would only stay in the back yard (he was free to roam). He would NOT go in the front yard; we think it was because he didn't want the neighbors to see him! Fortunately for him we took it off shortly after we put it on him.

I believe that animals have feelings and they have souls as well. My dog is my fuzzy sweetie!

I think my black lab Jake used to get embarrassed about riding in my minivan, and that's why he used to get car sick every time he rode in it, which only happened after I forced him to get in.

Bought a pick up truck. Dog couldn't wait to jump in the front seat (note: NEVER would let a dog or a human ride in the back) and never got car sick again :rotfl:

What kind of dogs do you have? I have a little maltese named Sweeney and I love him so much!

::yes:: My one dog won't go to the bathroom in front of people... he goes behind the shed to do his business and keeps peeking out to make sure noone has come outside :rotfl2:

Definitely. One time my dog jumped up on my mother's bed, and because her ears are too big for her, she accidentally stepped on them and fell flat on her face. I cracked up; she turned around and howled what-for at me. She KNEW I was laughing at her.

She is also able to express disgust by glaring. Don't tell me dogs can't glare. Tara sure can. The incident that stands out in my mind was the time my now-ex passed some very rank gas in the TV room (sorry)...Tara walked in, sniffed, curled her nose and glared at him, and promptly left.

Another time she was very mad at my mother for taking her to the groomer's one Saturday. I could just sense the bad mood. Sure enough, when we got in the car, Mum said, "Oh, you look so pretty!" and tried to give her a kiss, and Tara turned away. Would not go near her at home either. Took a few hours.

Yeah, I think they do.

My dog once tripped, and hid underneath a table all afternoon.

Poor thing ...

If I was a dog I'd be peeing behind the shed too.

When my dog has a outfit on he acts like he is so cool and tries to show it off. He walks with his head held high so everyone can see him, even though he is only about a foot tall.

kdibattista, my female dog Rasta does the same thing. She "goes" behind a tree in the far corner of the back yard. I took her to the beach for the weekend, and it took her an entire day of me walking her on a leash around the condo complex to find the best, most private place to do her business. That bladder must have been ready to burst!

:rotfl: Our old cocker used to act all mad at us and almost embarassed when we would get her hair cut short. In her old age (and grumpiness) she wouldn't let us brush her, so we had to basically get her shaved. She hated it.

Our chocolate lab Jake acts like he gets embarassed when my brother in law teases him about his Dumbo ears. I know. How dare he! So his ears are a tad long, so what! :confused3

awww... i bet he looks adorable with his ears!

Oh they absolutely have feelings. ::yes::

I definitely think dogs have feelings. I have a schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle). During the week or so before she is to be groomed, she seems depressed and then after getting groomed, she is so much more happy and full of energy. After being groomed, she marches around the house, like she is saying, look at me I am so pretty now.

Lily, that's her name, is the same way when we are outside. She finds her stop to go and then if she finds you are watching, she has to start all over again and find a new stop. It doesn't necessarily have to be hidden, you just can't be watching her.

She has such personality for a little dog.

Yes, dogs have feelings. Our dog would hide when she knocked the trash can over (ashamed of herself), and she used to pee in the middle of my bedroom whenever she was mad at me for something.

She would also come to me when I was feeling sad and lay her head in my lap, she had this thing she would do where she would stick her snout under my hand and flip it up - like she was saying "pet me, it'll make you feel better!"

Oh animals certainly do have feelings. They have the emotions we have.
