I never did with my son and I thought it was a big no-no. My SIL mentioned that she puts her son to bed with a bottle and I was a bit surprised. I think she would've gotten upset if I told her why she shouldn't do it. I didn't say anything, but I think I'm going to mention it to my mom and maybe she can say something to DB.Absolutely not! That is right up there with don't put newborns on their belly. I am definetly not a PC mom but would never put my baby to bed with a bottle.

I did give my kids a bottle but never propped up. Only when they could hold it themselves. Maybe 7 or 8 months.
My kids have had no problem with their teeth. Heck they don't want to fall out by themselves. All there teeth have grown behind the teeth coming in.
My kids are 12 and 9 now.
Never had cavities either....guess we were lucky.![]()
No, I never did that. I feel sorry for babies that get their bottle "propped", and not being cuddled in their mother's arms while they're having the bottle. I always held my children when I gave bottles to them. And I do the same with my grandchildren too.
