Unless they're getting a comp, they'e paying $95 per hour for that VIP Escort. So, if they wat to pay it to skip the line, is ay go right ahead. If I could afford it, I might do it, too!

But as I was waiting for the page to load I remembered my teenage years, running through the streets of NYC screaming and yelling for the guys in Menudo. Hiding out in hotels, pretending to be guests just to sneak into their rooms (yes, it did work too LOL) So Ok, I take back what I said in the previous post and reword it....
I honestly don't understand an adults need to approach a celebrity. LOL

I know anyone can do it but if you do you better have a lot of money cause it costs a mint!DisneyDotty said:Anyone can book one of these--but they are rather expensive.
We did a regular tour in Disneyland last December, and had a number of comments as we walked by regarding who we were, why we had an escort, why we were allowed to cut in line...
I can't imagine a well-known celebrity navigating crowds on his/her own during peak times at Disney! I barely manage for my nondescript, ordinary family!![]()
Only celebs get to go in the back entrances. If you pay the $95 you dont get the same treatment. The tour guide wil be your "runner" if you will and get FPs but you have to wait in line like everyone else.Straitlover said:Unless they're getting a comp, they'e paying $95 per hour for that VIP Escort. I can see why Disney would perhaps suggest for some stars that they had an escort. Presumably it's up to the guest though.
Are there different levels of "tour guide service"? I sat on a wall in WDW's Fantasyland for about 65 minutes this past Saturday while DW and DS4 waited in line to ride Dumbo and the carousel and people-watched. One of the things I noticed was that all the tour guides parked, retrieved, and usually pushed people's strollers for them. The other thing I noticed was that many of the tour guides took their parties to the regular lines but some (i.e., three to five) of them did take their parties into the handicapped entrances and/or into the exits and none of those people looked handicapped (which I know is not always visible) nor famous to me (but then that could just be me not recognizing them).mjmcca said:Only celebs get to go in the back entrances. My friend told me specifically that paying for the service does not give you special access. They could have been someone famous or maybe a foreign dignitary who we wouldn't recognize. I know that for certain groups my freind gets a "company" car.I think that you may get to use it to travel between parks and maybe even exit through back routes. He brings it home with him cause he has to leave at insanely early hours sometimes.RobInBigKC said:Are there different levels of "tour guide service"?
