and here's my feline fart story, from 6 years ago!

I had always known the dog farted...but never thought about the cats. Until the other day. Our cat was sitting on a plastic toy (the deck of the Barbie cruise ship - don't ask) in the floor, when suddenly I heard this HUGE fart! I thought the cat had vaporized I would have blamed my DH but I was home alone! I couldn't believe that came from the cat I guess it reverberated off the plastic...and yeah, it smelled like something crawled up him and died

Yes they do. My cat Cleo, once farted in my face while she was trying to wake me up one morning by crawling all over me. My other cat, Caly, farts once in awhile and she takes great pride in herself when she does. She did it the other day and looked right at me like "Yeah that was me"

I just asked my cat if she has ever farted "she" said girls don't do that.

Absolutely! It is most awful too!

Our Vet said no.....until our cat proved her wrong during an exam.
Said they don't burp either.......Mocha proved her wrong on that too.

For the first 17 years can't remember the cat farting. Now at the ripe old age of 19, the old guy can let them fly. It's nasty. And like a cat, when I accuse him of the crime, he acts as if his gas doesn't smell, live with it.

I haven't noticed our little kitty doing that but my dd's most favorite piece of trivia this week is that Kangaroos do not fart!!

I'm not quite sure where she learned this but she's been sharing this little knowledge nugget with everyone she meets for several days now.....

he double hockey sticks yes!!! when mischief was a wee kitten, she walked over me on our bed....followed by a tiny pffft and a wicked stentch.
