...leave the parks for resorts early in the morning? Im assuming they do after they drop off people, but I want to be sure.

We are hoping to get a 9:30 PS at Boma while staying at the Poly. It will be a day when MGM has EE. Im thinking of taking a bus fromthe Poly to MGM, then hopefully getting a bus to the AKL, but it will be about 8:45-9:00am. Would that be possible? Or would we be better off just taking a cab? Or is there a better way Im not thinking of?

Your best bet -- catch a bus to Animal Kingdom. From AK, catch the AK Lodge bus. Or, you could take the Monorail to the MK, and catch the bus from there. If you choose this option, make sure to make your presence known to a bus driver. Depending on the construction at the time, it might be hard for the dispatcher to know you're in the load zone. (At the MK, if they don't see you in the load zone, the bus might get dispatched from the staging line, and bypass the load zone)

AK Lodge is not a "MOD" resort, so buses run in fixed intervals from each of the theme parks. OKW, and Coronado Springs are also non-MOD resorts. For the MOD resorts, buses run "upstream" only when there are guests waiting.

Tyler, I was with you up until the MOD and "upstream." The non-MOD resorts have buses running in fixed intervals from the parks. AK, OKW and Coronado Springs are non-MOD resorts. Are there any others? What is the fixed interval. Is it just how long a round-trip takes? Does "upstream" mean from the parks to the MOD resorts, or the other way around? Thanks in advance. Sorry, I didn't know you'd be giving us a snap quiz today. My dog ate my homework! :)
