My DS3 loves to play dress up with his big sis(4) and of course he usually ends up being Cinderella. This is fine when the play at home, but I don't think my DH will let him go out in public like this... :rotfl: So do little boys dress up at the character breakfasts? We have a CRT on our 1st full day and I would love for my DS to be able to dress up like my DD(more for cute pics), but there aren't really any prince costumes and he is not into Peter Pan. He does have a Buzz costume, but that is all. Please help!!!

When we went I didn't notice any boys dressed up as a particular character. I did see a few boys around the park with some of the pirate stuff: hat, hook, scarf, sword. While they don't seem to dress up, my nephew 6 was very excited to see the princesses at CRT and insisted on a pic with Cindy!

My DS was 3 (almost 4) when we went to WDW last year. I made him a Prince Philip costume for him to wear to the Princess Storybook Breakfast. I was going to buy the one in the Disney Store, but it was silver and blue and even my 3 year old didn't think it looked like Prince Philip.

The character lead noticed DS dressed up while we were waiting in line and I explained who he was. She must have told all the Princesses because every one of them called him "Prince Philip" and Princess Aurora spent a LOT of extra time with him asking about his horse, Samson.

He was there for one reason only - to smooch the Princesses! He's going to be a heartbreaker!

You can't really see his costume in the photo, but I based it on this outfit:

Last year my ds went on the pirate cruise, so he was dressed up as a pirate all day!!!! I saw many little boys with pirate things as stated above, they love to swing those swords around, and yo ho yo ho........... if only I'd seen johnny depp or orlando bloom................ :rolleyes1

I'm taking my dd7 to CRT mid Oct. I had not really thought about her dressing as a princess. Although she really likes the princesses, she is kind of getting out of the dress up thing. Will she feel out of place if she is not dressed up?

When my nephew was 6, I took him to the Villians Character Meal at 1900 Park Fare. He went dressed as Peter Pan, because I knew Captain Hook would be there. It was a big hit. Captain Hook kept coming over to our table to take my nephew's hat off using his hook. We even got a really good picture of them together. Of course, he just turned 11, so dressing up like this is out of the question, now! :rotfl:

My 5 year old will dress up as a pirate or as a power ranger. I don't think I could get him to dress like a prince - that would mean he might have to actually look at/talk to a princess, and why would he want to do that? They all have cooties. Needless to say when choosing character meals we leave CRT off the list :)

When my DS was 4 we went to the Hoop De Doo Musical Review and he dressed up in his cowboy hat, boots, vest, rodeo belt, etc... He was picked to go up on stage for an audience participation part and it was soooooo cute! I wish there was a cowboy smilie but this one will do - :charac4: He's into spiderman now!

Very cute picture!!! Prince Phillip is from Sleeping Beauty correct? I thought about making my DS an Aladdin costume, I don't really think that it would be too hard and I actually found a little book at JoAnn yesterday about children's dress up costumes and there was a picture of a little girl in a genie costume. I thought I could make a few alterations and make it into Aladdin. I wasn't sure though if Jasmine was at the CRT??? I also tried to think of how I could make a Prince Charming, since he likes Cinderella so much! :lovestruc

MY DS (3 at the time) dressed up in the Prince Philip costume that Disney Direct sells. We have that same sword and shield as in Narvon's picture. He got LOTS of attention.

This trip, he's 4, and we're doing lunch instead of breakfast. I was hoping to get out of them dressing up since it will mean changing twice now instead of just changing after breakfast. But both DS-4 and DD-7 won't hear it!! He'll be wearing that same Prince Philip costume again!

We have Prince Phillip costumes that I made that my boys will be wearing. I need to get them the Disney sword/shield for the meals. They'll wear their Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and Tink costumes for the Family Magic Tour.

my son (5) dressed up as Aladdin last dec. we went to the storybook breakfast and all the princesses gave him so much attention (esp Jasmine).
she gave him a kiss on the cheek and he said he will never wash his face again. Too too cute. he loves dressing up and he loved the attention he got esp in Monacco and from the "real " alladdin.
he dresses up on the cruise too.

BTW DD was jasmine

Did you buy an Aladdin costume or make one? I keep checking on ebay and can't find one. I was just on ebay a little bit ago trying to get a prince charming, but I was out bid. I thought what could be more cute, my DD as Cinderella and DS as Prince Charming at Cinderella's castle. What a photo opp!!!!!

I found the nicest one on Ebay. It was from someone who was selling alot of disney costumes that she got in WDW. I saw she lived in Fla sO i guess it was easy for her, It was the nicest one I saw. I noticed a couple of others.
It wasn't easy finding Aladdin. Maybe do a google search and see what you find. I will try to find out who she was and then send you her ID. I'm looking myself so I can see what she has now.

Thank you that would be awesome. I would love to get an Aladdin or Prince Charming as those are the two my DS recognizes most.
