Do Blue Card perks still apply if using resale points?

Maybe a dumb question but once a person qualifies for the blue card, do the perks stay with the person'people on the deed regardless of what points are used? Do I have to keep any resale contracts in the same use year to maintain blue card status if using points only from the resale contract?
For example, if I have a blue card contract and later buy a resale at a different resort, do those points all add together and as long as the direct membership that qualified for blue card status is still in effect, all points are considered blue card eligible? What if someone that is not on the direct contract is on the resale deed? Will they grandfather in as a blue card member or is that considered a separate contract and isolated from the direct contract as it pertains to blue card status?

The Blue Card is just for the perks that are given. It does nothing to the underlying points.

The names on the blue card membership are the ones eligible for the blue card. If you buy resale with different names they are not eligible for the blue card. Also each separate contract is just that separate contracts. If you have direct march use year and add on resale march points direct will be contract 1, the next will be 2 and so on. If the names do not match then it will be completely different

Your "blue card" membership is tied to the contract that qualified. The points in that contract can be used at any current or future resort. If you purchase a contract on the resale market, any resale restrictions will apply to the resale points.

If the resale contract is the same UY and is titled the same (same names on the deed) as the "blue card" contract then that resale contract will be under the same membership even if it is a different resort. The points can be used together for making a reservation. Home resort rules apply. If they are the same home resort, the points can be used together at 11 months. If they are different resorts, then they can only be used together at 7 months as long as you are not trying to book RIV (or any new resorts from here on out).

Being under the same membership as the "blue card" contract does not make the resale contract qualify for member extras. If you sell the "blue card" contract, you no longer have a qualified membership.

If the contracts are titled differently, they will be separate memberships. Only the membership with the qualifying contract will be eligible for member extras. Only the names on the "blue card" contract will be eligible for member extras. Family members living in the same household as the "blue card" members can have DVC APs purchased for them, when APs are available for purchase.

As mentioned, it is the contract that allows an owner to be eligible for membership extras.

As long as you own that contract, you are eligible. It doesn’t matter what else you buy.

Where you use your points is based on how you buy and are not tied to the blue card in anyway.

Resale points since January 2019 can not be used at RIV or future resorts, even if you have other points that can.

I’m confused a bit by your question & not sure what you’re trying to do.
Once you have a blue card you’ll get the DVC discounts whether you are staying at WDW on your ‘blue card’ points, entirely on your resale points, or on a cash Disney reservation.
There’s nothing you can do to upgrade those resale points, which right now means you can’t use them to book Riviera, cruises, Disney collection, etc.. You can combine them at 11 months if same home resort or 7 months if different home resorts w/ your direct points to book (except Riviera.)
To have any contract added to the membership w/ your original contract the same names must be on the deeds - so if you put someone on a resale deed who’s not on your direct deed that deed won’t be added to your existing membership - DVC will create a new membership for the resale contract because of the new name.
