Do AP rates + DP =DVC stay

AP rates for dining plans have been announced....
I have an AP, would like the regular Dining Plan but am staying at
AKV's on my points......
Can I get the AP rate on my DP??????
Please help soooonnnnn...

Can you clarify what you mean by AP rate for dining? Is there a special DDP price for those with APs? As far as I know, when you're staying on points you pay the regular DDP price, but I guess I wasn't aware there was different pricing for those with APs.

There is no discount on the DDP. The only differences are the ticket requirements. DVC point stays and AP rate stays do not require a ticket purchase.

I don't think DVC can offer any discount deals that CRO offers. It sounds like CRO is offering an AP rate or an AP rate plus dining. You can't subtract the difference and expect it to be that for DVC.

Are you talking about Annual Passholder rates? Typically, they only apply to the actual room, then you are able to add the dining plan and any park passes you want to that but there is usually no discount on those. Where did you see these discount codes? If you have the actual language it states, it might be easier to figure out what the deal is...

OH - I think I found what you were talking about on MouseSavers. It is just the AP room discount - no discount on the DP even though they are "bundled" together. And no - you can't use the AP room discount when staying on points. If you want to take advantage of the AP room discount, you will need to book this package separately and cancel your point stay. Hope that helps.

That is what I am talking about. Can the Dining Plan above be added to a DVC stay??? Will I receive the discount on my DVC stay?

Nope. Per my edited response above, there is no "discount" on the dining plan - just the normal AP discount on the room. It doesn't matter even if there were a discount on the DP - you don't get it staying on points anyway. Hope that helps.

As permavac has said, there is no AP discount on the dining portion of the stay. The code adds the full price DDP to the discounted AP Room Only rate.

The AP DDP rate is the same as the DVC DDP rate, both are full price.

Well... it isn't "true" at all. That is, there isn't a discount on the DDP, period; just on the room. So, I mean... we aren't getting cheated out of anything.
