Do any rooms overlook the lobby at AKL?

My wife and I are staying in a Standard View room at AKL... one of our favorite rooms opens into the lobby (above the checkin desk) at the Wilderness Lodge. Are there any rooms that open to the lobby at the Animal Kindgom Lodge? Are any of them standard view? Thank you!

Yes, there are a few rooms like this at the AKL, however they don't offer the best views of the animals. On one side the rooms will overlook the pool and on the other they will overlook the Sunset Savannah. I also like the rooms overlooking the lobby at WL, but at AKL I would definitely request a room overlooking the Arusha Savannah. It is the largest of the savannahs and the only one that has zebras.

He said that he had a Standard view room. So he will not be able to ask for the Arusha Savvanah or the pool. He *might* be upgraded, but that is a big if. And you shouldn't ask for Arusha when you have paid for a standard.

we stayed in room 4204 in AKL and loved it. it was right above the checkin desk and looked out over the lobby. We loved that lobby. Very relaxing. The only thing is it was a handicapped room so there was not separate sinks. but very nice
