Do any of the deluxes have take-out food?

I know there are no "food courts" but what about quick food to eat in your room? Are there any options besides sit-down restaurants?

Hi.. some deluxes have food court areas... AKL has one, The Grand Floridian has one, Contemporary has one, Poly has a small counter service area. I think the only deluxes without food courts at the EPCOT area hotels.

WL has one also.

Not a full service food place but there is a hamburger/hot dog stand at the YC/BC on the other side of SAB next to the beach. I think Beaches and Cream has a takeout window.

BWI had the Spoodles takeout window where you can get pizza meatball sandwiches and a few other items.

WL has limited room service call Ms. Jennies.

Has WL changed something in regards to their room service? You used to have an extensive menu and the ability to order off of the menus of any restaurant at the resort. Has that gone away?

AKL has both room service and a food court... both are quite good!!!

All the deluxes have room service. We love room service at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Somewhat mixed experiences at BC and BCV so far.

The fast food spots at the monorail resorts are open 24 hours which is a huge advantage I think.

I liked Mara too and it does open at 6:30 as I recall.

B&C has too small a selection, too short hours, and too little room I think. The pool side place isn't even open some times of the year and also has a very limited selection. We really miss the convenience of the monorail snack shops when we stay at BC or BCV.

We just stayed at WL and BCV (Beach Club) and both had a quick counter service place available. We had breakfast at Beach Club and a late snack at the WL. Both were good.

We did get room service at the BCV - it was late at night and took a while, but the kids seemed to like it just fine.:jester:
