do annual due go up?

Hello,
i am just beginning to look into buying DVC points and have a nimber of question..........
firstly, do annual 'dues' go up? how much is this likely to go( does it fixe the increase in the contrcat)
thanks for any help.

This year the "dues" per point are as follows:

Saratoga Springs $3.82
Old Key West $3.86
Hilton Head Island $4.03
Beach Club Villas $4.26
Wilderness Lodge $4.35

Boardwalk Villas $4.41
Vero Beach $4.86

Annual fees have increased an average of about 4% per year since 1991 when DVC began. Some years they have gone down and some years the increase was as high as 8%.

There is a maximum increase of 15% (unless the members vote for a higher amount), but that has never been approached.

These fees cover all aspects of the cost of running DVC and the DVC resorts- including MS, property taxes, insurance, resort staff, transportation, housekeeping and maintenance. DVC itself is paid a management fee from our dues, but all fees are supposed to reflect the actual cost of running the resorts and program. Next years fees will be sent out in the next 8-9 weeks and there is usually a full breakdown and analysis done on this forum.
