Do all laptops have modems?

It would be rare today for a recently made laptop not to have a modem - so i'd say virtually all do.

I agree, Its almost unheard of a new laptop not to have a modem and a wireless card. Thay have become standard features in this multi-media world.

Apple are purging themselves of modems; you'd have to buy an external one if you get one of them. It's cheap as anything though.

Yes, more and more we're seeing laptops without modems, and with ethernet capabilities included instead.
