Do all cruises have a formal night?

I thought that they were only on 7+ night cruises (I have no idea where I got that into my head).

We are doing Western Caribbean 5 night in March.

Some of the shorter cruises have a dress up optional night

Only the 7 night and longer cruises have what's actually called a "formal" night. Shorter cruises have a "Dress Up Optional" night usually. Although, even on those cruises having "formal" nights it's optional.
