So I have always gone to Disney with family that is also very into Disney planning (sister/parents/friends/etc) and one person in each "group" had their own MDE account. Sometimes this was up to three different accounts we would link together for our trips.
I am going in a couple weeks with a close friend and her family and as the token Disney "expert" in the group, I am the only one with an MDE. I made accounts for them on my MDE and made all of the reservations and park passes, etc. I offered to help her set up her own MDE but she didn't have any interest. Was happy to have me organize the planning.
Any major downsides to this? Aside from not having another person in the party try for RotR? I have an annual pass, so will send the the photos as we get them (no need for them to buy memory maker). Her husband is very tech focused, but also didn't seem super interested in having the MDE.
Now that everything is set, I imagine it would be a big hassle to separate them and their tickets off of my account and then have them linked?
What do you all do in situations like this?
