Do all ADR's at Disney now require a credit card?

I want to make reservation for lunch at Tusker House and dinner at Cape May. Are they holding the card number in case you do not show, or are you paying ahead of time in full? Tusker House did not ask for this in the past, maybe because they added character or is this a new policy everywhere?

Starting last fall I believe they require a CC # for certain meals and character meals are one of them. They do not charge your card upon booking but they will charge $10 PER PERSON if you do not cx within 24 hours of the reservation.

As the PP said, starting in October Disney began requiring credit card numbers to guarantee reservations for all Signature and character meals. They will not charge your credit card, unless you're a no show.

There are a few other ADRs that require full payment at the time of booking. These include CRT, HDDR, Spirit of Aloha, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

and take note of the cancellation policies, especially the report that it is not a 24 hour cancellation, but a full calendar day in advance.

It is any reservation made after October 26th, 2011. What's bad are some of the restaurants that are character meals at breakfast are not at lunch or dinner, yet if there is a character meal there anytime during the day, then that restaurant requires a cc guarantee even for dinner. The ones that come to mind are Tusker House, Ohana, and Cape May Clam Bake.
