Made all of my ADRs this morning for my 9/23-10/1 trip - no problems. Wanted to get the latest possible Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package for 9/29 - latest I was able to get was 4:05pm booking at 186 days at 6:30am in advance. Makes me wonder if 5pm even exist?

Yes. I have a 5pm F! Package for Mama Melrose in May. However, I did read that they sometimes open more F! packages closer to date to gain more restaurant bookings.

Hope you get what you're looking for.

I have a 4:55pm and that was booked at 180days exactly.

I also have a 4:05pm Mama Melrose F! package booked on 9/29! See you there :goodvibes

I have a 5PM for Brown Derby in June. I didn't get one at 180 days and just kept trying online almost daily. Then about 100 days out I was doing my daily check and there were several times available for all three restaurants, I couldn't believe my eyes. Just keep checking.

just booked brown derby for 9/29 latest i could get was 3:35! mama melrose was already booked up.
if i made a regular adr for 6:30 at brown derby do u think i would have time to watch fantasmic? 3:35 is way to early

I got 4:55pm at Mama Melrose's on 9/22/11. I arrive 9/17/11 so I guess that makes it 185 days out when I made the reservation. It was a nice surprise since most people talk of getting 3:30 ADRs.

Also got a 4:55 at Mama Melrose's (on 9/1). It is the 7th day of our trip, so it was done at 180+7. I think the glitch where no dates in Sept were showing as available on the calendar definitely helped more than anything.

I agree, I'd hate to eat that early. But I think 6:30 might be late. If you don't do a package, you'll be in the general seating and they say you should get to the theater at least an hour ahead of time. I believe F! is at 8:30 so if all goes well, you'll be out of dinner by 7:30 with exactly an hour until show time. I think it's doable but may be cutting it close in case you get seated late or something.

Thanks for the tip - don't think i could check everyday for the next 6 months, but maybe once a week or so I could check.

Congrats! Guess too many diser's read the tip on entering 09 date by hand because they weren't showing up on the calendar for me either.

I just booked a 5 PM package for Hollywood & Vine on 9/29

We won't do H&V again - had lunch there and it was the worst meal of any trip we've ever taken to Disney.

No, adr at 6:30 at Brown Derby will NOT give you enough time...that's a signature restaurant. You can count on 75-90 minutes even if seated right on time (which probably won't happen, either.) Even if "only" takes 75 minutes to eat there, by the time you get out & get over to theater it will be 8:00 or after. We have been at Fantasmic in September several times and though the crowds are lower in general, they really cut back on the Fantasmic performances so everyone crams into the few shows they offer each week...we've found September F! crowds to be more crowded than May, even.

I would not schedule an ADR past about 5:30, maybe 5:45 if I wanted to get to Fantasmic that same night. You really want to be at the theater no later than 45-60 minutes before show time (and you will not have a choice of seats, but there should be a few rows left here & there. Good view all over, as long as you're not in the standing room only sections.)

:thumbsup2

We had gotten a 5pm Brown Derby Fantasmic Package dinner in November and our waitress said she'd try to rush us through to get us there in time. We managed to get there 30 minutes prior to show time and the dinner package section was filling up quick. Not 10 mins later it was full.

Count on at least 75 to 80 mins for a signature dining experience unless you skip the appetizer.

In Dec we did the 4pm dinner at Mama Melrose. It was much more relaxed, although much earlier than we normally eat (we had a nice big breakfast and a small snack for lunch). However we got to the reserved section without feeling stressed and enjoyed it much better.

Our time is.... 5 pm! :dancer: This is the first time we got 5 pm in a handful of years. I booked online for about 4:45 until I decided to retry (about a half hour later) by putting in the time instead of just "dinner". It was available so I jumped on it. If I am remembering correctly it was also available at BD. This was at about 183 days. Just had to type in the date to get it to pop up.

We just got a 5pm at MM for 10/2. Now I'm wondering if that's going to give us enough time....

That should be plenty of time at MM. Dining there takes about an hour. Even if they are running late with seatings, you should be fine.

I got 4:45pm on Thurs. Oct. 6th.

I didn't even book it first thing-I somehow thought that it needed a DDP or you would get charged. So I was going to book it tomorrow morning, but decided to see how hard it would be. Then I noticed that it said my CC wouldn't be charged.

I just booked a 5:00pm at MM for 10/6 this morning. I wanted 10/2, but only 3:55pm was available that day.
