DME

our flight for September was just pushed back. We were supposed to arrive at MCO at 3:05pm but now are arriving at 4:29pm. We have 6:35 ADR at Chef Mickey. We are staying at the Contemporary and have done online check in so shouldn't have to go to the front desk. I called Disney and the lady I talked to said to allow 75 minutes for ME and we should be fine. Anyone with experience getting to Contemporary on ME?? Think we will make it?

It might be close but it *should* be ok. I usually give a 2 hour window but we are usually there within 90 minutes depending on where the bus stops first. Since you won't have to travel from the resort to the restaurant you should be ok.

That's barely enough time and only if all goes as planned. It doesn't allow for flight delays or DME delays. I would never plan for DME to be 75 minutes....90 is more the average. My suggestion is for you to keep checking for a later ADR or for one on another day. If you don't have a later one by the day before you will have to evaluate the risk. Are you willing to risk paying the no show fee if you don't make it? It's never wise to book an ADR inside of 3 hours on arrival day, too many things can go wrong.

Have you thought of calling the airline to get moved to an earlier flight?

Unfortunately there is only one flight out per day on this airline so changing flights isn't an option. We are arriving on a Sunday so I'm guessing traffic will be light. I have been hoping to find a later ADR but no luck yet. I think we will just keep it as is and hope for the best!
