DME & Travelocity

Has anyone used Travelocity or a similar service to book their hotel/airfare? I get DME with me reservation but I'm not sure if I have to call DME directly to advise them of our flight times or if Travelocity will do that for me. Anyone know? Should I call myself just to be sure?

Call DME directly to confirm (or make) your DME reservation. Don't expect Travelocity to do it for you. It can't hurt to call, KWIM?

OKay so I called Disney and they told me that because I booked through Travelocity, they can't add DME for me, to call Travelocity. So I called Travelocity and what did he do? Direct me to the Disney website: www.disneysmagicalexpress.com/us Duh! why didn't I think of that? Even worse, how did the girl working at Disney not know that? LoL

If you have any trouble with this, wait until you're within 60 days of your trip, then call DME directly (866-599-0951) rather than calling Central Reservations. The DME CMs don't have computer access to your ressie until you're within that 60-day window.

I had LOTS of trouble with my TA even understanding DME. The DME CMs had pity on me and let me make my own arrangements directly with them.

on the website www.disneysmagicalexpress.com/us, for the Hotel Reservation travelocity give me two #'s -- confirmation and an ID which do i put in the reservation spot? Can you tell I have never done this before...lol

Your Disney reservation number is an 8-digit number. Hope that helps.

I see...i only got a 9-digit confirmation code and a 12-digit Travelocity Trip ID
....

I just entered the "confirmation code" found on the Travelocity confirmation. It was 9 digits, and it worked fine. Good luck!
