I assume the answer is no, but does DME run to the DTD hotels? We are checking into Yacht Club on October 26 but are arriving the day before and staying the first night at the Double Tree Suites in DTD and then heading to Yacht Club first thing in the morning. Figure that we'll need to take a cab to Double Tree Suites but wanted to confirm - if DME goes to the DTD hotels we'll use that to save a bit of cash. TIA.

You will not be able to take Magical Express to a Downtown Disney area hotel or to the Yacht Club the night prior to your Yacht Club stay.

Specifically not included in DME are Swan, Dolphin, Windham Bonnet Creek, Shades of Green, and hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd.

For two of you you could save a little cash taking Mears' area hotel shuttle. It's about $20. per person one way. Mears has walk up counters below the main ticketing and security level on both the A and B sides, I'm not sure of the exact locations although one is near the DME welcoming area.

Thanks much. Thought that would be the case.

Could you possibly change the plan for that first night and book a Disney value resort instead? That way, you would be able to use DME upon arrival, and the next day Disney would move your luggage over to the YC for you.
