DME questions, need to make sure I have it right

Hello,

I always rent a car (well we took DME once) several years ago. I am going down with a choir group at the end of January. They are taking DME, I am still renting a car myself though. I have been put in charge of the group at the airport, since I am a Disney vet. So, I want to make sure I tell them all the right stuff, so I can get to my car as quickly as possible.
They will tag their bags before they check them here at the airport.
When they land, they go straight to the ME desk.
The bags will be delivered to them at the hotel.

This is all correct? Where is the ME desk at the airport, I cannot seem to remember. I was hoping I can just tell them all, so I don't have to lead them to the desk when we land.

For the return flight, we are flying Sun Country. I do not see them as being eligible for the luggage check in at the hotel.
So, they take their bags with them to the ME bus stop at the resort, and then check their bags at the airport?

Yes you are correct.

Nitpicking: Those arriving after 10 PM into Orlando need to go get their bags from the carousel.

Originals or copies of each room reservation, each set of DME paperwork, and airline baggage claim checks need to be held among the group members as they arrive at the DME welcoming area.

Be at the magical express platform 15 minutes early for your bus back to the airport.

Magical Express welcoming area -- B side lowest level, at the end of the airport main terminal away from the Hyatt hotel.

Note that, regardless of what airline you come in on, you will arrive in the main terminal and exit security more or less between the A side and the B side. Like entering a football field at a goal post and the grandstands are A and B.

Big (3 foot high) neon A's and B's on the side walls will give you an idea of which way to turn and they are hard to miss.

The paperwork items, I assume you mean when they go to board the bus at the airport? I hope our group hands out room information, I have never traveled in a group, and our group leaders are rather disorganized.

Is that the same level as the rental cars? Are there signs pointing to the DME area?

It is actually right after the area with the rental cars; you will pass by them as you head to the ME area.

It is pretty clear, although there are signs, as you start to look out the windows, you will see the ME buses arriving, and then you will see the distinctive white shirts/blue skirt or pants uniform - and someone is usually waving a big white Mickey glove to direct you to either line.

There is also a map in the ME package of how to get to the ME desk.

If they have their ME books with their transportation coupons, you will be directed towards the bus lines. They will then take your coupon and write on it the number of bags you are checking and log it in.

If you don't have your ME book and vouchers, and/or if they didn't put the yellow tags on their bags, they will be directed to the ME counter. They will ask for your reservation and then for your baggage claim tickets and a description of each bag.

Then you will proceed to the bus line.
