I think I know how to fix this, but I wanted to ask you all to be sure.

My family is arriving at WDW on 2 seperate dates. However, the DME packet has us all arriving the same day.:headache: Will a stop at the DME desk in the airport take care of this problem? What information will they need to have in order to prove they are booked at a Disney resort? Will the room confirmation number suffice?:confused3

I would call DME guest services now and make sure they have the correct information: (866) 599-0951

It really doesn't matter on the inbound as you are not assinged to a specific bus. As long as you have a voucher in the booklet for each person they can ride DME. You can call if you like to make sure everyone is listed but I would call DME directly not the reservation line.

On the outbound you are assigned to a specific bus so the information needs to be correct. You can make changes and confirm the info from the resort at any point during your stay.

Those who get there first can (at the Magical Express welcoming area at MCO or at the resort) modify and/or reconfirm for DME the arrival date of the others.

Make copies of the DME booklet so each person or group has one to show to the welcoming area CMs.

Just be sure that everyone has their 'voucher'. If they don't have it, they will need to have the resort reservation number, the person's name it is booked under, and IDs with them to prove they are the person(s) listed on the reservation. DME CMs will then print out new vouchers for them. But, they will have to go to the counter, which will take up time.
My dh and dd have arrived on different days than I, and they had absolutely no issue using DME. But, they had their vouchers with them.

I seem to remeber my Dh's voucher having our check in date on it not day he was flying. He got to resort and luggage wasn't far behind him.

I can't rip the little booklet apart though, or can I?

We have 2 rooms booked, and one person from each room is arriving a day later than the rest of us. So we would have to rip apart both booklets, and I was a little afraid of doing that.

Also, one of the people is only 16 and does not have a driver's license. So no way to prove who they are.

You can rip out the vouchers and distribute them along with the the luggage tags. Otherwise as long as the 16 yo is traveling with an adult and the reservation matches up she won't need to show id.
