I am leaving for WDW in less than a week. I booked my trip through Liberty Travel, and they told me I would be receiving Magical Express info an luggage tags in the mail. Still nothing. When I asked the travel agent about it, she said that we could do one of two things:

1. Find the DME cast member and describe our luggage so they can retrieve it and bring it to the resort. (I am NOT doing that!!)

2. Check and claim my own luggage as I normally would and bring them with me to the DME shuttles.

So obviously I am doing #2. But if we haven't received the info, does that mean there is a problem with our reservation? My agent said she called and confirmed that they have our reservation, and there should be no problem getting on the shuttle.

Does anyone have any experience that would refute this? If we can't get on the DME express, how difficult would it be for us to get a taxi or shuttle?

Thanks,

Chad

My SIL didn't recieve her ME tags until two days before departure. I understand they only mail them out 10 days before so you might get them any day now... Relax, you've got a few days before you have to worry.

I just got mine today and I am leaving tomorrow morning. I wasn't going to worry about it since I have a reservation, but I am just bringing a carryon and don't need the luggage tags.

We got our today and we fly out on 2/12. I reserved DME about 3 weeks ago and at the time the gal taking the reservation told me they mail them out 2-3 weeks prior to your departure. We leave in 15 days, so that was exactly what she said would happen. Just wanted to share this.

I leave 2/3 for my 7 day trip and still have no tags but Disney emailded me this info when I signed up for ME

In the event that you do not receive your Disney's Magical Express booklet with luggage tags, here's what you will do upon arrival into Orlando. Take the airport tram to the main Terminal and proceed directly to the Disney Welcome Center which is located on the A side of the airport on Level 1 (Ground Transportation). If you arrive on the B side, please proceed to the A side before taking the escalator or elevator down to level 1.

There will be Disney representatives located on Level 2 on both the A and B sides of the airport to assist you with directions to the Disney Welcome Center. At the Welcome Center, you will receive all the necessary information for your transportation. :wave2:
