DME from a different resort than you stayed in???

Has anyone ever used DME and left to return to the airport from a different resort than where you stayed?

We have Thanksgiving day reservations at Ohana for 2:00 PM and we have a 7:00 pm flight out.

Would love to know anyone's experience using DME and leaving from a different resort than where you stayed.

From what I understand, other DISers have asked that question, and no, you can only be dropped off and picked up from YOUR resort. Sorry.

Not sure about your questions, BUT ME usually picks you up 3 hours before your flight, so they would pick you up around 4PM, will that be enough time to eat at Ohana? Just an observation

DME is ONLY for transportation to and from the resort where you are/were a regsitered guest.

Ask the DME CM when you check in at MCO. Every guest who asked and posted was told no but that rule that might be changed. Someone may be the first to get that kind of exception.

There are rumors that in the future DME guests will be able to check into their hotel at MCO and will be able to take DME directly to a theme park. This change may be a few years away.

The only way we were able to was that we stayed at one resort in the beginning of our trip, transferred to another resort and returned to the airport from the resort we were staying in at the end of our stay.
