DME for luggage only??

Is it possible to just have the DME take your luggage to your resort and not actually ride the DME bus?

We are renting a car and was wondering if this is possible so we can bypass baggage claim, and pick up our vehicle and head to the resort.

If it is how many baggage tags can you have per person?
