Does anyone know how far ahead you receive the yellow luggage tags so Disney will retrieve your bags? also if someone has the phone number I should call that would be very helpful. thank you

Magical Express (866) 599-0951 Expect luggage tags anywhere from 4 weeks prior to about 14 days before arrival.

I had to call for mine last Friday night (for this Saturday). I got the tags but they didn't know if it would come in time. I had the confirmation of me submitting the request but for whatever reason it never fully processed.

I would say if you don't get it 2 weeks out then call.

If for some reason your yellow tags don't arrive in time, proceed to Magical Express and present them with your baggage claim tickets you received when checking into your home airport. They will claim your luggage for you and it will "magically" appear in your room.

This is a great option if you don't get your tags prior to departure - my only add on to this is while you're on the plane, dot down the numbers on the tags in case of any snafu's.

I got mine just over 4 weeks out (8/19 for a 9/21 trip). My dad forgot to put in his info until after he saw mine had come, so we'll see how long those take.
