We are leaving soon (Sept 23rd) for a 8 day split stay trip.

My DH, my mom, and I are all starting at AKL for 4 nights, then mom is going home and DH and I are going to boardwalk for 4 nights.

When I got our Disney Magical Express Tickets all three tickets had Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo in large print under the Mickey head. The date we are arriving at the top, however above my name it says "Boardwalk Vill" on all THREE tickets, even my mom's.

I'm not sure if that is supposed to be where we are returning from, if so is that a mistake on my mom's? I don't want to find out the day before or worse the day of Mom's flight that they think she is picking the bus up at Boardwalk!!

Does anyone know how what is displayed on the tags works? The booklet does have mom leaving on the correct day and flight though it is just the tickets that seem odd.

I have never had two resorts on the same vouchers...I would call DME directly and ask them what they have in their system.
Usually, if I'm doing a split stay, I get duplicate packets...one packet with luggage tags and vouchers for my arrival resort, and another packet, with luggage tags and vouchers for the second resort. But, the second packet usually also has our return vouchers in it as well.

This happened to us. We stayed at BWV for 4 nites and moved to SSR. We got to the bus and the driver questioned that we were staying at BWV. I didn't even notice what the voucher said and we had the stuff they put on your door with the correct info. I just told him we transfered to SSR. He didn't need proof or anything just let us on the bus but I would call and ask if it will be a problem.

I've done several split stays and this is what we have received each time.

If you do not get up to date yellow luggage tags in time to go with, then draw one line through the incorrect information and write in the correct information. Do not bother to correct the lettering such as "EP" inside the mickey head and do not mark through the bar code.

If other parts of the booklet such as the "vouchers" look incorrect the pre-welcoming CM at the airport should send you to the counter instead of directly to the bus but if s/he sends you to the bus it will still work out. It is easy to arrange the homebound Magical Express at the resort and at any rate if you don't get a correct confirmation (or any confirmation) at your door the day before checkout you need to go get it (and corrected) down at the front desk that morning before checkout.

Do not use washable ink felt tip or newfangled liquid ink ballpoint pens for marking tags or envelopes.

If you don't have enough luggage tags out of one booklet and you use tags from another booklet then bring both booklets with you. (And/or send copies of both booklets to other in your party travelling separately.)
