DME and DVC Reservations question

DH and I are going in Dec. using some of my parents DVC points. I called to make our DME reservations and was told I need to call member services to make our reservations? Is that true? If it is, can I call member services, or do my parents need to make the call since we are using their points? Its going to drive my dad mad if he needs to make another phone call to save DH and I a couple bucks!

First let me say what a gorgeous wedding picture! Secondly, you will be able to make the DME reservation yourself by calling member services
(1-800-******** I believe) during their regular business hours. You will need your Dec. reservation number as well as the name of your airline and the flight number. They should be able to take care of it for you directly without your Dad having to make the call. Have a wonderful trip!

I actually applied on the member's web site about three weeks prior to leaving. I received an email confirmation within 24 hours, & my DME envelope arrived about two weeks prior to departure.
