I just returned from a great trip to Disneyland over Valentine's weekend where I was solo a couple days and had a friend join for 2! This was my second time there ever and the first time was about 10 years ago! I normally go to WDW since i'm from the east coast and didn't know what to expect from the smaller Disney experience.
I was SO surprised! It was GREAT! and the tour i took was FANTASTIC!!!
I did the Walk through Walt's Footsteps tour and got to learn the history behind the park! and as a super sweet bonus i got an exclusive PIN only for tour takers!
Wondering if WDW has any tours with PINS? I have done the magical gathering SAFARI TOUR and have that pin... are there any others???
The Backstage tour was the highlight of my vacation though! I was thinking of doing other tours at WDW when I visit this year. Any suggestions? Thinking Backstage magic but... 7 hours? not really sure...
Even though the parks were smaller it seemed to pack in all the fun on more than jsut the two parks and different things of course and the same but not quite! DLR seemed more laid back to me despite teh crowds over the holiday weekend and even though we couldn't get reservations for the Blue Bayou eating at the counter service next door was great for the new orleans flair!
I was not a DLR believer before this trip but now i think everyone should pay homage!
-just my two cents, fireofmarajade
