Do the DL hotels have refillable mugs? And if so, are they all the same or resort specific?

Thank you, in advance. :goodvibes

In all our trips to Disneyland, I've never seen mugs like the refillable ones at WDW. I really dont think they exist -- never had any in our room at the GCH & we go every year. (Could be wrong, though).:)

Nope - none here. There's a lot of things they don't do the same between resorts. Heck, DL only just got Key to the World type room keys this August.

We had them 4 years ago when staying at Grand Californian, we were there for two weeks and we could fill them anytime at the quick service restaurant (white water snacks), we purchased them from there. They were exactly the same shape as the one's we got from WDW this last year, only the design was for the Grand Californian Hotel, have just dug it out of the cupboard, they had a green lid and handle and have the Grand Californian Hotel written on them. Haven't been back since so maybe they don't have them anymore. We are looking at a trip this year and I was wondering if they still had them.

When doing research for our WDW trip last October, I read somewhere (DIS? another board?) that these once existed at DL.

They stopped selling them in late 2006 and no longer refilled them starting Jan 2007. No DLR resorts currently have refillable mug program.

However, you can buy a souvenir mug and use that at the self-fill places (they are the same size as the normal sized disposable cup...for coffee at least) and pay the full price.

No savings for you, but you get a souvie AND it's one less cup wasted. :)
