Once again, the time has come for the DLR to offer the "2Fer" to residents of Southern California and northern Baja California.
MousePlanet is announcing that starting from 6 January, residents of Californian ZIP Codes 90000 to 93559 and Mexican Códigos Postales 21000 to 22999 will be able to purchase the 2Fer Ticket at the DLR Ticket Booths, the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland.com.
Certain other places, including VONS Supermarkets, or the Disney Desks located in major Southern Californian shopping centres will also be selling them, but might not have them immediately.
Like last year, the ticket will allow guests to enjoy both DLR Theme Parks for the price of a One-Day, One Park ticket ($69.00). It will be valid for one day at Disneyland Park, to be used between 6 January and 3 June, and for another day within 30 days after first use at Disney's California Adventure Park.
The 2Fer is NOT a ParkHopper ticket. It cannot be used to visit both parks on the same day.
Likewise, it cannot be used to visit the same park twice. Ex: If you visit Disneyland Park on your first day, you MUST use your second day to visit Disney's California Adventure Park.
This offer is only open to residents of the specified region, and Proof of Residence may be required to purchase or use the ticket
In addition, the 2Fers less well-known counterpart, the Southern California 2-Day ParkHopper, is also returning, and will be priced at $94.00 for adults, the same price as a 1-Day ParkHopper.
Both tickets have the same restrictions, but the 2-Day ParkHopper is valid on both days at both parks, allowing you to enjoy two days at both the DLR Theme Parks for the price of one.
Finally, as the DLR offers Free Admission on Your Birthday, this offer is also affected somewhat.
Eligible guests with birthdays between 6 January and 3 June will receive a free 2Fer ticket instead of the normal one-day, one-park ticket. It will act in the same way as a normal 2Fer ticket, except that the first day must be on your birthday.
The Birthday 2Fer can also be upgraded to the Southern California 2-Day ParkHopper for $25.00, making it quite possibly the cheapest 2-Day ParkHopper available.
