We've always visited during the week - and avoided crowds. But hoping to book a trip in March this year and will be taking 10 year old StepDaughter, so don't want to take her out of school for too many days.

Is it crazy busy at weekends? And is there fireworks or nighttime parade at weekends in March - might persuade me to go on a Saturday!

Unfortunately the fireworks are only on during the summer months, on Bonfire night, on New Years Eve and other important dates.

No, no night time parades or fireworks weekends in March .... however on St Patricks Day, 17th March, there are special events and fireworks in the main Disney park :). This is on a Thursday next year.

I would still avoid weekends, any weekend, if you can, regardless of the time of year its always much busier than midweek.

also be aware that whatever theme year is running will not be on in march

No fireworks in March but on the upside the park will be very quiet. We went 1st to 3rd March this year and are returning 1st to 4th March next year so although it was chilly (dont forget the gloves, scarfs and hats!) it was great to be able to pretty much walk on to most rides > longest waits were 30min TOT, 40min Crushes Coaster and 20mins Space Mountain. Hope this helps!

Sorry forgot to say - we got the previous year theme tshirts on sale because of this. There were a few other special offers in the shops too.
