We visited family in Holland this summer and drove to Paris for 3 days. We got there about 10 am and checked in to our hotel - Hotel L'Elysee (sp?, sorry) the room was ready early. We could not get the UK/Europe discounts as we live in the US and the prices were to high to stay on property - I found this hotel while surfung the internet and was so pleased with the price and the ability to use the EMH. The hotel turned out to be very nice and definitely worth the price.

After eating some sandwhiches we had packed for the road, we walked across the street to the train station and went in to Paris. Rode the Hop on Hop off boat and went to the top of the eiffel tower. It was a 20 min train trip to Paris but that was ok because it was an extremely short train trip to DLP the next am. Unfortunately the shuttle did not start until after the EMH and we wanted to get there early, so we took the train.

When we got there, just as they opened for emh, we rode buzz 3 times, the orbiter, the carousel and the teacups and then we got in line to get over to Pirates of the Carribean. Then my dh and ds rode Thunder Mtn - this was all before 11 am - it was great!! Then dd and I had lunch at Auberge - it was a great experience for her but to both of us the food was just ok and the princesses did not seem to have a way to keep track of which tables they had visited and by the end of the meal Snow White had not come to our table - On our way out, I politely asked the woman who appeared to be with her and she talked to Snow White and we got our pic with her too - they were very nice. DH and DS had lunch at Pizza Planet and loved it.

After lunch, We got fast passes for Buzz. Then stood in line for almost an hour to ride the autopia - this is the one place we really saw the cutting in line stuff. Then dh and ds got to ride Thunder Mtn again - unfortunately it had to stop for some reason and they were in the dark cave for 10 min. And that made us late for our fast pass time for Buzz but they got their passes stamped at Thunder Mtn and the Buzz staff let us on becuase of it.

The emh was so worth it - dont think we would have had a good time without them. The next am we drove to the park, since we were leaving straight from the parks. We went back to the main park for the emh (buzz 2x) and then over to the Studios when they opened. Over at the Studios we rode the Cars, saw the stunt show, dd and I saw Anamigique, ds and dh rode the aerosmith ride and armageddon (I think?) we left by 1 pm and got some great sandwhiches at the train station to eat in the car.

Other than during lunch (and 1 outside lunch) we got no autographs - I had read it was a hassle and knew it would just frustrate me. The one we got outside lunch was Mary Poppins and no one was there except the girl getting her pic done, so we quickly walked up and at least 2 kids came from out of nowhere and cut in front of us - it was crazy!! Same thing happened trying to take pictures with the sword and somewhere else. But reading these boards before I left had me prepared and the kids too - so none of us were let down - we knew it wouldnt be wdw but it was great in its own ways!!

Overall we had a great time and it was so worth it!!
