DLP Customer Service Numbers Not Going Through from US

Does anyone know the correct way to put the numbers for DLP's customer service in to call to change a reservation?
I have tried adding both 0 and 00 before the provided number of +33 16 03 06 053 and it tells me that the number could not be completed as dialed. I did try calling WDW to see if they could transfer to DLP but was told they did not have a way to do that.

Is there something I am missing?

I've just googled and it appears if you are calling from the US , you have to dial an exit code which is 011 before the 33, then the 9 digit number.

Never heard of the exit code, as from the UK we just put the country code in and dial the number

Yes, 011 is the country code you use when dialing internationally from the USA.

That’s weird. I called WDW this morning and was able to be transferred to DLP

That's another way to do it if you don't want to call directly.

FYI- You can also call WDW and ask to be transferred. You need to check the hours because of the time difference.
If for some reason they say the extension won't connect, ask for a 3-way call instead.
