Hey folks, anyone ever do a calculation of when it makes sense (even possibly for a single trip a year) to get AP's for a family of 4 versus buying tickets? Obviously it depends on blackout dates and the number of days in the trip so say a trip in August or September, family of 4 for 7 days; anyone ever crunch the numbers and figure out when the breakeven point so it makes sense tobuy an AP for all 4 (or even just the lead guest)? Thanks!

Depends which pass but I believe it was 5 days break even for the Magic and 6 or 7 for the infinity when we bought ours.

We recently took a friend of our daughter and bought a 3-day pass for €285. The price depends on the dates. In hindsight we should have bought him an annual pass. We will renew our passes next week and with our 15% discount they will be €272 (Magic Flex). But regular price is €319.
The problem now with the reservation system is, you have to buy or activate the AP at the gate, and you can't make park reservations without it

Do they still allow to upgrade a ticket to an AP? If yes, do they allow to upgrade a multi days ticket?

To my knowledge they have never allowed upgrading multiday tickets. Only one day tickets and they have to have the price printed on them.
